I offer a balanced approach to training, which gives both you and your dog the tools to communicate clearly and understand expectations.

Once we establish the rules, your dog receives immediate feedback on good behavior and mistakes. Just like when you start a new job and need consistent feedback on what’s going well and what isn’t, your dog needs that guidance too. I bridge all learned behaviors with motivation to encourage your dog throughout this process.

Amelia was very detailed when asking about our family, schedules, and environment for our crazy, wild dog!

She was very thorough, patient, and very engaged with our dog throughout the consultation and while providing training guidance. She gave instruction on each command, including how to do it, and how to correct our dog if he didn’t follow the command. She also gave us notes on what to work on and how long and how often.
